Why La Jolla Is (Definitely) a Better Weekend Getaway Than L.A.
Food came out fast and both the sweet and savory options were fantastic. My guacamole-smothered omelette was delicious, and came with a fresh-baked scone which was to die for, especially with the butter and homemade jam. A side of fruit (my choice) rounded out the breakfast well. Service was fast, friendly - and the bathrooms were clean. Huge patio for mainly outdoor dining, too.
My family and visited San Diego for the first time ever and as we searched for places to eat we ran into this beautiful little restaurant. The food was not only out of this world delicious but they’re service was AMAZING!
If you are looking for a nice brunch spot in La Jolla, go check out the Cottage! I've only been here once and I gotta say, this place gets BUSY on Sunday mornings. You can set a reservation online, so I'd recommend doing that to see how long the line is before going there. When I went, the line to sit was about an hour-hour and thirty minutes long. But don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sure the line was long because the food is so bomb!
