Located just across the bay from downtown San Diego, the beaches on Coronado Island are consistently rated as some of the best in the U.S. Complete with gentle surf, sparkling sandy beaches, and a quaint, historic downtown center, Coronado is worth a visit if you’re already in San Diego. Visitors can drive over the scenic Coronado Bay Bridge, enjoying views from all sides, or hop on a quick 15-minute ferry ride from Broadway Pier. Victorian-era Hotel Del Coronado consistently ranks as one of the top hotels in the County, while upscale restaurants and high-end shopping makes this a go-to luxury destination. aborum.

I cannot say enough about this beach. The only difference between it and Panama City beach Florida is about 20゚ in temperature. The water is cold but the beach was beautiful. Wondetful

Life's a beach! One of our priorities for visiting San Diego was visiting a beach, and San Diego Yelpers, you did not disappoint! Thank you for steering me in the right direction, because now I know why Coronado Beach is so special to the San Diego community.

This beach is beautiful! On the drive there you cross over this huge bridge! It's really cool! The sand has sparkles! The sand is soft. It looks beautiful like there's diamonds, glitter in the water. It's pretty flat not much bumps when walking towards the ocean.
